Now... I will admit, I am many, many things. Including a self-proclaimed "Corona Expertó." And in said expert opinion, this Corona tasted off. And I can't put my finger on exactly why. A bit sour and a bit bitter! I'm sure it was a one-off Beer, or a 1 in 30. And if I was to go back tonight and have 40, I think all 50 Beers would be fine. I reckon those 60 will give me a good sample size.
I ordered a bucket of 5 Beers of my choice, and I picked Heineken. Which, let me tell you, were for some reason flowing like they had never flowed before; crispy and delicious. However, let me explain the photo. A Bucket of 5 Heinekens was 199 AED, £40.29, $54.19USD if my memory is correct. Fair, regular, normal. Nothing special. However, I was informed upon ordering that there was only 4 left. So I opted to fill the Lucky Last spot with a Corona that tasted like it was made in the 1900's. Good choice from me there, as per. I do have a soft spot for those Corona glasses, (Tried to "borrow" a few in my time - never successful), so that did soften the blow a little bit. The selection here is very, very vast. Too many for me to list, but lots of staples on Tap, good selection for bottles, including Ciders and also 0.0%ers - ew. My Beers were ice cold. Fantastic. I know Heineken is often not a popular choice from the average consumers of the famous Hops drink, but after my stint living in the big 'DAM', the famous Dutch Beer just feel in love me. And we hit it off. My second love. Don't tell Mrs Amstel. Ok, back to reviewing. Kinda pricey if you don't want a bucket. Cheapest Pint on Tap being 38 AED, £7.79, $10.35USD for the 'Beer of the Month'. I don't even know what that means? Drinking an unknown liquid is never a good idea. And the most expensive Pint on Tap being 66 AED, £13.54, $17.97USD for LEFFE BLONDE. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I had to put the emoji's in there just to truly emphasise how I feel about that. Surely that's some sort of joke? LEFFE BLONDE. Don't wind me up.
Happy hour everyday from 12PM - 8PM. Generous hours with Drinks starting at 38AED. I can get behind that.
Now, let's rate these bad boys.... Selection and Variety. Has to be 5★. Something for everyone and their sweet mothers. Prices.... I think I'll have to go with 4★. The Pints are on the pricier side, but the Bucket was decent value I guess, and the Happy Hour is forgiving. Taste and Feeling.... 4★. When I complained that the Corona tasted a bit dodgy, they were happy to replace it with another Heineken. I should've offered them to try it, but that's probably quite difficult considering I drank the thing anyways. The Heinekens were magical though. Hence the rating. I was there on a Tuesday evening. Was a tad quiet, but there was a Fantastic quiz going on. Would go back for the quiz alone. I do love a quiz.

Now, I'm not a massive Cider drinker, not anymore anyways, and usually I bash people who still are. But there is just something about a Sweet, ice-y Cider, Strongbow in this case, when you're hungover. Spectacular. Quenches the thirst miraculously. Can only have 1 or 2 though otherwise it feels like a layer of Glucose develops across my front teeth when I venture into the 3+ Cider count.
The Strongbow you see here was fresh, clean, pure, smooth and poured into a glass that had been brought back from the Ice Age. At one point I was concerned that my fingers were getting Frostbite. Nothing another sip won't fix. Sometimes I find that when you're drinking a Cider in the UAE they can be flat. This wasn't. This was the opposite. This was like the alcoholic version of the "7UP Extra fizz", except it wasn't 7UP. Bubbles everywhere. Bubbles galore. A drink fresh out of a Child's birthday party.
(Because of the bubbles....). Moving on....

Just joking, obviously. I only got halfway through. So that means I had 9.5. Yeah, I couldn't finish the other half. I was on to Hoegaarden and decided to call it there. Excuse of a drink. Wouldn't drink it if you paid me.
Insane selection though. Bottles too. Fairly well priced. I mean, market averages anyway. Happy hour running from 12PM - 8PM with drinks starting at 30AED. Oi oi!
This Strongbow came in at 52 AED, £10.65, $14.16USD, which is normal, unfortunately (get me back to Thailand. Ooooo a Singha right now. Yummy) Very cold, very crisp. What more do you want.
R-r-r-r-ratings....... Selection and variety has to be 5★. Maybe even too many choices! Price will be rated at 4★. Nothing to get too excited about, and nothing too surprising. Average. Taste and feeling for this crispy Strongbow was 5★ for the first 2 anyways. Really good. No faults.
